There are good 6.5 ROMS out there with minimal issues. I highly suggest deck's SsS ROMs (He has a new one coming out Friday) or Calkulins ROMs. Both are very fast and stable. I have had very few issues with them. You could also dl Calks VK and cook a ROM with what you like in it. It is pretty easy to get the hang of.
A lot of people swear by flashing to the stock ROM and then flashing to a custom ROM. Also, hard reset after your flash. This is supposed to take care of little problems here and there. Whatever you do, dont give up on it quite yet....just flash til you find what you like!

try the silence/mighty ROM....By far the fastest and most stable rom ive run to date....its not flashy, nor does it have alot of extras, but it is FAST!
