Official 6.5 Sprint rom offical yet?

I've looked around and all I really found was speculations, I even called Sprint, and HTC. Sprint rep was rather funny, telling me that the TP2 came out friday. Anyways, I was just wondering if there is anything information on a release, or if it's still up in the air.

WM 6.5 Does not Officially come out until Oct. 6th so i would guess that an official Sprint Rom for WM 6.5 Wont be out till @ least then, if were lucky we will have an official rom update b4 Thanksgiving. We might have one sooner but not for the Touch Pro. But the Touch Pro 2. As some have said that Sprint won't be putting 6.5 on the Touch Pro, or Diamond series.

I don't think the TP will get an official 6.5 update why because I think microsoft noted all mobile devices will need a windows hardware button. The TP2 will get the update it has the windows hardware button

This right here, I think is stupid. -_- Bad bad microsoft. What significance would a button be on the whole rom?

My thoughts would be, it would be there for this whole app store Micro$oft is making and something to do with that stupid app kill switch they were talking about. Just my 2cents

yes it really sucks that they won't have a 6.5 release for the TP. Hopefully it will be released in the kitchen for us TP users.

basically if microsoft mistakenly approves an app for the app store and then realizes "OOPS! we didn't mean to approve that!", they can remotely delete the app from anyone's wm device that's already downloaded it

but it's not that big of a deal; they're going to be screening the apps like crazy (especially at first) and the chances of them having to use it are slim to nil

and i honestly don't think this has anything to do with a hardware windows button lmao
