if the sensor is tripped, there's not much you can do to argue it. way back i somehow tripped my moisture sensor on a phone (maybe in the bathroom while i was taking a shower? who knows) and sprint wouldn't even look at it, let alone try to figure out what was wrong.

It's such BS though, that is completely unrelated I might as well have beat the phone into submission with a hammer. He asked me if I wanted to order a TP2 (for full price) and I was like "uh....no".

I wish they just gave me a new keyboard and I'd replace it myself since my TP is in such great condition and because that stupid sensor was tripped it's now a "dead" device.

I have a great idea to get back at them though

Talking Re: Thought I would be the only one!

I have had my Touch Pro with Sprint for about 4 months and I have always had keyboard issues. I took it in yesterday when it stopped working entirely and they put a new keyboard on it for free. I didn't pay anything or lose any data etc....I do have insurance but they never asked any questions. They just took my phone and put a new keyboard on it.

Re: Thought I would be the only one!

I can't see why anyone wouldn't have insurance on a expensive phone like this. About 3 years ago my cat knocked my phone into it's water dish while I was in the shower. I didn't have insurance. I had to pay for a new phone out of pocket. After I got my new phone, I got insurance and I have had it ever since. I went through 3 TP's in the past year and never have to worry about getting hassled about it. Plus 2 out of the 3 were brand new ones in the box. Which makes it ever better.

you said earlier in the thread that you didn't have it and you just added it. you can't make a claim on the insurance until 30 days after it's added to the account.
(the whole thing about somehow getting TEP after the 30-day limit and then canceling it after your claim is the other thing i was talking about being a flame-magnet)

oh, I thought you meant I couldn't add TEP if my phone was more than 30 days registered under my account. I just re-activated an old phone of mine and then re-activated my TP again to enable TEP to be selected.

You're saying since I just put it on this morning it won't count until roughly a month from now?
