Thought I would be the only one!
that didn't have their keyboard break :(. I did the DIY fix with duct tape and that only got me like 1 week longer for it's life, but now it's completely dead. now after I flash back to stock rom should I
A. Go directly to a Sprint Store (or Sprint repair center) B. Call Sprint and activate TEP and then goto the Sprint Store (or Sprint Repair Center). I'm wondering if since this is such a widespread problem if I will be needing to activate TEP first so they'll fix it or will they just do it anyway?? (naturally I took the duct tape and stuff out and reattached the ribbons) |
Re: Thought I would be the only one!
if you've had your phone for over a month, you can't get TEP... but because it's a known issue and you're probably still on warranty (if they don't notice that you opened it), you should get it replaced for free

Re: Thought I would be the only one!
Or better yet, try to get the TP2 lol

Re: Thought I would be the only one!
The Sprint store will fix it for a cost if you have no tep.

Re: Thought I would be the only one!
i still havent had a phone with a bad keyboard, all my issues are with the screen and the dpad/send/end. I guess i use the SIP more than keyboard.

Re: Thought I would be the only one!
of course it wil be more than TEP, just add that thing if u can and head on there

Re: Thought I would be the only one!
I think you missed it. You can't just call and add TEP. If you don't have it now, you more than likely can't add it. And I believe you also need to wait 30 days before your first claim.

Re: Thought I would be the only one!
definitely the 30 days wait but it is possible to add it past the 30 if u know how..

Re: Thought I would be the only one!
How do you add TEP past the 30 days grace period?
