yeah, from what i've heard you can't make an insurance claim until 30 days after it's activated on the account

Oh, but would I really have to make a claim for them just fix the keyboard. I'd assume they'd just see the keyboards shot, see I have TEP, and then fix it. It got really complicated really fast.

Do you think he would have fixed it if I waited the 30 days or would he still pull the water damage excuse??

You have to make the claim if there's water damage (by Sprint's standards). If you don't want to make a claim buy a phone off ebay.

It's so dumb because the phone works fine, the little indicator may say the phone has water damage but the phone still works 100%. I went there for just a keyboard replacement, instead I paid $120 and got a new phone (which is a good deal considering I'd pay probably like $150 on ebay) that's the only reason I agreed.

problem is that if that strip is tripped, all warranty is null and void

Geez, they must replace alot of kb's if they're stocking them at the store. So far so good(knock wood), but mine is fine and I use it alot. Baby the hell outta the tp tho as all my devices. Only 2-1/2 months old so who knows? I guess if it did take a dump I'd just eat the cost of a tp2 and that'd be my new phone. Do you suppose they would pro-rate the tp1 and apply that to a tp2, or just install a new kb. Probly new kb. :)

i feel you there, but the reason i'm not upgrading (yet) is because the few upgrades it does have aren't worth $350

What if it was the CTRL key itself that causes all TP keyboards to fail lol, that would be the only acceptable reason for them to get rid of it for me:angry7:
