Custom roms and qps???

i have flashed mighty rom6, juicy 8, and psyki4 and cannot get gps to work at all. can anyone point me in the right direction, i have tryed searching... maybe im not wording it right in my search. so now i am asking. any help would be appriciated.

for VZW there is no better than SSK, he has working GPS for VZW.

You have a verizon phone so you need to unlock the GPS for it to work with things like Google Maps and Garmin....

Look for and install ppst2.01.cab (you can find it in Boreds GPS thread)
Once installed go to file explorer and run windows/ppst

The phone will reboot when thats complete and your GPS will work provided you go into location settings and turn location from 911 only to location on!

thanks guys, im using an ssk rom, and i used ppst2.01.cab and got gps working, does ppst2.01.cab work with the other roms too?

its just for VZW...once u do that, it should be a permanent fix... its just that way because VZW only unlocked their GPS somewhat recently

so it will work with all roms, not just SSK?

edit: oh wait so now that i ran that cab I can flash to a different rom and will be all good?

just to be sure after I flashed everytime i just used the cab updated and it has worked fine for me.

PPST will work on any rom but a hard reset and rom flash will clear it out and force you to do it again.

I cooked it into my rom by making an OEM so I don't have that issue anymore.

where is the setting for 911 only gps setting? if quickgps it turned off does this affect the 911 setting?
