PLEASE HELP! I am getting charged by Sprint! International Texts and Calls!

For my job I have to post my number online. I have received a lot of calls also from international numbers and text. I reply not knowing they are international. I get charged a lot because of this.

How do I stop international texts and calls? How do I KNOW it's from an international number? This is especially the problem with I think Canada as it looks no different than any other number.

Sprint is charging me an arm and a leg for this. I told them I can't tell they are international and they said they can't do anything about it. I told them to cancel all international and block them. They said no.

well if theres no +code before the number (ex +011) then yeah i can see your deliema....

sprint really said they wouldnt block it??? id call back and ask someone else.. you would think theyd have no prob blocking it, since they have special plans for all that

You job requires you to publish your personal
cellphone online? The company should pay for it
or supply you a business phone.

They do supply me a business phone but I'm on the road a lot. Although they pay me and I only work for them - I am technically an independent contractor. I work in real estate.

I work for vzw and if sprint is anything similar, you can only block specific numbers, like a stalker or such

i had this problem, getting international texts from some spam thing, and i called sprint cause it was like 35 cents or something a text, and they said there was nothing they could do about it. and i'm like, well.. what do you want me to do about it? so the guy said to just call him once a month and he would credit my account. what a retarded system.

its like block all or block none... the system isn't that advanced... plus you need your privacy man, you don't want sprint really knowing everything do you? especially texts. SO the most they can do is block specific numbers... or atleast with vzw you can login to your online account and block numbers yourself

You can log into Sprint.com then go to the Digital Lounge and block specific texts, Or you can only allow certain number's to come through, You cannot block numbers, The system is not that advanced at all, There is alot of stuff we cant do, or you can install one of these caller Id block's and block Area codes or International codes, Forgot the name though, get back to you later on this.
