Verizon didn't remove the RAM, they buy the phones from HTC with less RAM installed to get a cheaper price, and then sell them at the same price point as their competitors.

As for reason your guess is as good as mine As for the gimping, I think every company makes changes to devices regardless of intention (ATT keyboard on touch pro, sprint changing the battery backing for example), as far as why would vzw do it, I have no idea. We don't know why it was that way, and all we have is speculation... As for touch pro 2, its not gimped, we have enough evidence its not gimped |
