I just installed wmdc
on an early beta last year sometime. It seems to have worked. But I haven't tried activesync to see if microsoft has it bundled in the final RTM version...I should check |

it pops up as a guest phone, but it always has an error in the main window. I can browse the file system bu thats it, the syncing never happens

im running windows 7 RC1 and WMDC and have no problems at all. have it working correctly on two computers with windows 7. IIRC WMDC was preinstalled with windows 7, but if its not, you can download it from microsoft. just google "mobile device center".
