try this. click start-settings-connections-usb to pc, then uncheck or check the box under activesync. i had the same problem and that fixed it.

Re: activesync and win7

I just installed wmdc
on an early beta last year sometime. It seems to have worked. But I haven't tried activesync to see if microsoft has it bundled in the final RTM version...I should check

Windows Mobile Device Center (WMDC) is the name of the software that vista and 7 uses to establish an activesync connection with your phone.

Microsoft Activesync is the name of the software that XP uses to establish an activesync connection with your phone.

Re: activesync and win7

plug in your phone and wait a minute and check in the device manager if anything pops up, if not leave it plugged in and do a new device search, there are a couple solutions to your problem you have to just be patient.

Re: activesync and win7

I have Windows 7 and the WMDC should be preinstalled and can be found in Control Panel.
