Re: [new edits]So You Want To Use Your TP/TP2 As A Modem??? Your Main Options...

Hey all I am back(I kinda gave up awhile ago but I gonna give it another shot). My question/issues areI am using the Sprint Touch pro and trying to use the good old ICS)

1) When I try to connect the phone as modem at first it normally gives me that registration error 67(crap)(if anyone knows how to set your vision username/password please let me know)

2) When it does connect it says 'waiting for network' for a long period of time and normally disconnects later.(MY PC(windows vista 64 bit) does 'see' the phone connection during this time but its sending 700bytes and receiving around 120) So I wanted to know is there a registry value I would need to change?. . Any ideas?

the only ADhoc in here would be wmwifi i think, since you specifically set it up as that

ICS wouldnt be adhoc...

if im off about the PS3, what r u trying to tether that you cant have adhoc
When i used the HTC program it only came up as AD HOC. My work computer won't connect to ADHOC. Any of these solutions come up as NOT ADHOC? Also won't install anything so I can't go to the direct USB connection ICS.

here man
Hack Internet Sharing to work:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\InternetSharing] Delete Extension key, set/create MaxCMCon=0 (decimal). [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\InternetSharing\settings] Set ForceCellConnection="Sprint"
