MORE MMS Limit tweak by: Pumpiron579

1:HLKM/Software/ArcSoft/Arcsoft MMS UA/Config/mm1/ mmscsetting/Sample MMS Change all the values to 1024000 or 1228800 that way you can send 1mb or 1.2mb files over MMS.

2:Then Change;
HLKM/Software/ArcSoft/Arcsoft MMS UA/Config/mm1/ UI/size Limit

3:Then set the SendDefault and/or RecvDefault to a value of your choosing. I set all mine to 1228800.

you can change that number to whatever size you want. you will run into tons of problem sending it to other people because they can't accept MMS size bigger than the server specify. So, its kinda useless.

fix for what? do u mean the post above yours?? if so, there is no fix, we cant control what another persons phone will allow for incoming pics/vids... technically with sprint, you can edit the reg upto 5mb and it will still send... however, unless your sending to someone that has the some reg edit done, they will never even know u sent a message, as it wont go through

**edit** i did see one guy say t was possible, so not everyone was wrong, my apologies.... also, just because your phone can send/recieve bigger files, doesnt mean the device you send it to can handle what your sending...

and email has no limits on sending.. to a device sure, but not to an email account... i just sent my buddy a 90mb file from my TP, sure it took an hr to send but it worked no prob
NOPE.
Registry can be changed, but it still comes down to the server of your service provider.
Therefore, if your phone says it can handle 5mb, and the server says 2mb, then it will either not send the message, or just send 2mb of it which could corrupt the data in the MMS anyways.
Also, like already stated, if the receiver's phone doesn't allow that size,
the same thing will happen.

This is why I never bothered adding this to my FAQ.

I know for certain because I run my company's Exchange server and if you send anything over 50MB it will reject it. So your 90MB file would have been returned to you unsent.
He could have been using email through a web browser,
otherwise, if he was talking about exchange server,
from my limited knowledge on that topic, you are correct Frazell.

That's the same exact thing that boredandtattooed posted.
Read my reply to that to hear why it doesn't really work, or is not really worth it.

haha. Well I have no idea what alltel/verizon's is,
but I think it'd be ALOT of trouble to go through,
when I'd rather just send the pics in incriments instead due to the recieving problems that will occur if the hacks are not done to the recipients phone's, so basically anyone that you don't change it for, or that doesn't go on phone forums like this, will not be able to take advantage of this mod.

In my book, it's a time waster, yes, it would be nice to up the value,
but I think it'd be more hassle to walk the other person through how to mod the registry(even using a cab file is tedious for my friends) or having to do it for them, which in anycase you'd be right there, so you might aswell just show them the pic. haha
But hey, if you want to use it, by all means, go ahead.
