First try to update the prl without going into diagnostics mode.
could you please post a link for the tutorial, or post the prl since i have never updated my prl i dont know what to expect

umm i just posted url and teh prl is a metro one its not on this computer its on laptop so i cnt axcess rite now . thankyou for helping me so much. so where can i get boootloader and how it work and stuf

gsm updating is different from cdma alltel/verizon just goto *228 press 2 and it auto updates. Sprint is usually (and i use the usually very very loosely) very bad at upgrading. The reason is that sprint is not the best at keeping their prl pri's updated and smoothly flowing alot of people i know have to call customer service and request a tech to flag their account for an upgrade.

well yeah mines a sprint its cdma can anyone help me with my delema i just need to flash to metro pcs prl.

i watched the video and it says when you have your phone in diag mode, the hardware wizzard will pop up and should install the drivers for you.
What operating system are you running?

i am on vistsa it installed normal drivers but not the diag ones it could not find

okay first i would make sure you have the latest updates for vista installed, then restart your computer, put your phone in diagnostics mode, then plug it into the computer, your computer should recognize the device, and install drivers automatically. Then run the prl update!
