How do I edit the registry?

I want to disable the text message sent notification. I know how to do it but i dont know how to edit the registry. I searched the forums and couldnt find it so dont tell me to search or answers plz.

Umm...download a registry editor maybe? check the software forum stickies. I like PHM registry editor myself.

Go to TP essentials in a sticky section, scroll down to downloads, and get PMH reg editor or total commander; they will allow you to edit the registry settings.

Thanks, i didnt know if i needed to download a registry editor or if i could just get into it using a code. Im not a noob but not an expert either. Thanks again for getting to the point without being rude.

If you've already flashed a custom ROM u probably have one of these programs on your TP already

well here are a couple ways to do so...i made a cab to do it so that you really dont have to do anything...lol...heres a cab called diamond tweak...you can change it through this...and heres the reg info to change it manually
