My 3rd Touch Pro is shipping out today..

3rd TP in a little over a month.. time to switch? I just received my new refurbished TP last week and already having the same keyboard failure I had on the original one. I called Sprint last night to go ahead and get a new phone and got the run around with their tech. He tried to tell me that he uses the same phone and has not had one single problem with the keyboard OR the keyboard lag..

Also suggested I power down and take out my battery EVERY night to prevent the keyboard failure. Long story short (done ranting) I am eligable for upgrade on the first of August..should I try the Pre? I absolutely love my TP but don't want to have to constantly be replacing phones bc of the ****ty keyboard.

That's odd, I have had the same TP since january with no issues so far, maybe it's time to try something new

I would pass on the Pre.. Hold out for the TP2

yea, the only problem i've seen with with several tp's >6mo is when I dropped mine the vibrate got funky, but otherwise everythings been just fine.
tp2 is probably what you'll want.

Does your vibrate sound like its got loose change in its pocket? My first TP was like that, now my present one's battery cover "clicks" when I press the task manager icon. PITA.

Yeah I have my third right now, got it Thursday, keyboard was dead by Saturday. My 2nd one is on it's way back. So in a few days I'll be calling verizon about #4, it's annoying this phone is basically a diamond since the keyboard doesn't work. I'm not switching to another phone though. I'll just keep getting replacements as long as I can until the Touch Pro 2 comes out. Hopefully it doesn't have these issues. Hopefully one of these reviewers can open it up and look and see how it's setup or something.

My first lasted all of February, second until last week, third.....well you know already. I'm hoping my fourth can make it to Touch Pro 2 time. If so I'd be happy.

I am on my 6th. It is not due to the KB thing, mine is due to the switch the stylist activates falling out or failing. anyone else have this issue?

The Pre is just as big a POS as the TP, my boss is on his 4th Pre & is returning it this week for a BB.......
