Re: Battery + Washer = Bad

At least you get replacements... I would have to pay 50$ annually just for insurance, and then if I actually break my phone, there's a small fee for that too. ( I love verizon's service, but man are they expensive!)

Well, at least something like this didn't happen!

But if you ever want to use the battery again, I would advise you place it in an airtight container with dry rice or silicate packets for a day or so. You never know how much water made it into the battery.

I pay $84 per year for my insurance, ($7/month) then if I have to file a claim, it's $100 per incident, but it was $50. but barring any phys/liquid damage, it's free courtesy of my service & repair center/job. lol.

Thanks, I cleaned it with some rubbing alcohol, then put it in a ziplock filled with dry rice. And no, I at least wear some kind of boxers or something. lmao. That's harsh, tho. Very funny. Awesomeness!

Re: Battery + Washer = Bad

I'd suggest tossing the battery. The water and detergents could have caused the failsafe components to go bad and there is far too much chance of the battery failing. It might work, but I personally wouldn't trust it.
