Battery + Washer = Bad

So, apparently my mom grabbed the clothes that were neatly stacked on the floor, and washed them without checking the pockets.
End Result:
1 pair clean jeans
1 clean t-shirt
1 washed Touch Pro spare battery. :/

The battery was not meant to go in the washer, and I never noticed until she asked me what "this thing" was that fell out of the washer when she pulled the clothes out. I keep my spare battery in my jeans pocket. lmao. it's got green corrosion on one of the terminals.

Edit:

Apparently, there is an addition to the "End Result:"

my toes. lmao

You might still be able to use it if you rub off the corrosion. I would test it in a very controlled env. though. Otherwise, looks like she owes you a new battery.

Got any pictures?

I agree with Link. Try to remove as much of the corrosion as you can then take a multimeter to the battery before popping it back in.

It's all good, I have like 3 or 4 more spare ones that came with my other replacements...haha.

It's on the terminal all the way to the left, this is after cleaning it with rubbing alcohol and a q-tip(not the singer). lol. There's just a little green left over, but I'm not about to put it in my Touch Pro again, at least not for a long time.

I put a picture up, and tried to clean it up with some rubbing alcohol, and I'll prob test it on our CADEX(Battery tester) tomorrow when I go in to work.

Haha. I was eating peaches, and **almost** coughed one out onto my laptop when I read that. And yes, it is also 3am here. I know, the looks can be deceiving...Argh, at least it wasn't my whole phone. lmao...I only have 1 more replacement through Asurion until October/November.
