During a phone call

Ok so I am running Silence/Mighty ROM, and love it! the problem I am having is like about 30 seconds into the phone call, the screen will go to sleep I guess is what you would call it. If I am on an automated call and need to push numbers, I have to keep hitting the power button to restart the screen. I have tried settings in the Power Settings tab for the advanced backlight, but no fix yet? Am I doing something wrong, my brain is fried!!!!

It may not be exactly what you had in mind, but I bet this would work for you...Touch InCall Screen Tweak -- It has an 'always on' option that might do what you need. If nothing else, you could just tilt the phone briefly vertical than back into hand-held position if it did go to sleep on you...no need to push any buttons.

Are you running any locking software? Things like S2u2 have settings to dim the screen on connect so you don't accidentally end the call with your cheek.

Also, do you notice it turning off the screen very quickly most of the time? If so, you can adjust the backlight timer, but this will probably harm your battery life.
Start -> Settings -> Power -> Advanced

No on the locking software and I have adjusted my backlight to like 3 minutes on batt power, but still same prob. I guess thats the only thing I have to complain about with this ROM, thats not much right?

same here! i will be putting in my secutiry code, for example, 1234 and right before i go to press the 4 sometimes the screen will just shut off and i gotta turn it back on to press 4
*edit: there are regedits out there but i think they only work for the gsm touch pro

Well I had to re-flash my phone, and all is fine now? that was weird!
