Re: Sprint Technician broke my phone EVEN MORE

Thanks for all the responses guys, going through and thanking all of you.

also Haus, yeh i've tried to re-calibrate the screen... no better :-/ still have to push to the point of damaging the screen for anything to respond.

any day now they should have my slightly used refurb waiting for me.

LOL its funny

I remember counting down the days from CES waiting for this phone to be released, watching all the youtube videos from the keynote, and completely geeking over it.

Now I find myself wanting to toss it out the window more than once a day. I messed around with the palm pre, not a bad phone...... But if i stay with sprint I really dont want to loose my Sero Plan.

I know alot of you would say, "if you plan to upgrade for the Pre, just keep the sero account on the side"

However; clients have been far to none lately, I've already had to make some cuts around the house.. cable, cut back on net speed, and so on... so while $10 extra bucks really seems like shi t nothing, thats a pack of diapers.

I don't know maybe with all these problems, and having really nice phone support lately, I may be one of the first Sero customers to land a Pre! wouldnt that just be awesome.

Talk to retentions about the travel costs. When I had my mogul issues I told them the closest corp store was 1:30 away, they gave me $50 credit towards my gas. Then just a few months ago I had to go for a TP issue. They gave me $25 towards gas. Since gas is cheaper now

I had to go back to the store and show them the issue. They had me on hold for 1 hour and they came back with a shinny brand new box. I got lucky and they gave me a new one. But only issue with the new one is the screen hue is on the warmer tone. So it looks a bit yellow compared to my nice crisp white hue.
Ex....Dude, i have to disagree. I'm a tech at a Sprint Corp store and I take pride in trying to help fellow HTC customer due to the fact I know first hand some of the issues they are experiencing. Now i'll admit some techs could care less, but speaking for myself, i like when customers are expecting some lame excuse and I hand them back there phone working better than it did when it came in.
And since i'm no programmer, or ROM cook, my contrib to the PPC community is if you(anyone) have an issue or question about a situation, PM me and i'll help as much as I can within the lines of business and ethics.

i dont think he was meaning that directly towards you, im also a tech and understand exactly what Exil3d is saying. i personally know some techs who wont take time out of there busy schedule to learn about a device they have to fix. I dont take offense at anybodys comment about techs because i know they arent talking about me. (maybe, lol)

@dashiot and mxtech3

The fact of the matter is that you rarely get a tech that knows what they are talking about. It's a shame there aren't more techs out there like you guys. You guys seem to have the consumers interest at heart and enjoy what you do and it isn't just a job. I tip my hat to you guys.

Re: Sprint Technician broke my phone EVEN MORE

What is funny, I had a tech at the sprint store tell me that there was no forum that talked about known issues on our phones. Needless to say I smiled and asked him if he ever heard about us or XDA. His weird look answered that question...
