Re: Bricked

It's not stuck on a screen. The flash seemed to go through fine. I just have no data for some reason.

I'm on Sprint official rom now...

And if they told me I would have to pay $100 i would w/o any problem. So that gimme crap about it being people like me who cause premiums to go up.

I'm sure most people on here flash a ROM other than sprint on this site. I did nothing different.

Re: Bricked

Switched to keyboard now, no caps, lol. Here's my problem with the poster. He states that he will get a new one with no hassle from Sprint. Did he tell Sprint what rom that he put on his phone? Did he try to flash back to oem to see if that fixes the issue? Sounds like another bricked phone damaged by a non oem rom being replaced by Sprint which as I said, drives up the cost for all of us who have phone problems that we did not cause.

Re: Bricked

Yeah I tried that yesterday, and it was still a no go.

I really not sure what happened. All my flashes went thru ok. I can't really pinpoint when it happened. When trying out roms i usually don't test everything. Just try out the speed of the interface. I just happened to get on the internet by mistake on one of the roms and it wasn't working. Tried doing a hard reset, and flashing to a different roms (including Sprints) and it never worked. Then I called Sprint tech and we couldn't resolve it.

And I really don't want a new phone. I went thru 4 refurbished moguls in 1 month last year before getting the TP. i don't wanna go thru that again.

Not sure what happened, but I get a new phone w/o any hassel from Sprint.

Hello... Not to worry. sounds like you may have tried to update your pri and ended up changing your msid #. what you need to is get the program called MSL grabber. http://www.baf.cc/bafmsl

once you get your msl, dial ##your msid# this will unlock and open your EPST go to edit on the bottom right will be a option for you to reset the device info back to shipped. Sprint will not have your new msid, so they will be of no help. also if that does not work, flash to stock and rum the update profile located in settings, system, or connections. good luck!

ps... Make sure you are on the Sprint stock rom before you do the PRi or profile update. otherwise you will change your MSID once again. If you have the MSL grabber, you can retrieve it and start over tho. Good Luck. Dont mind the irrate members on this site. Some are so tight in there ways you can shove a piece of coal up their butts and get Diamonds. Not Pros, but diamonds
