Hello... Not to worry. sounds like you may have tried to update your pri and ended up changing your msid #. what you need to is get the program called MSL grabber. http://www.baf.cc/bafmsl

once you get your msl, dial ##your msid# this will unlock and open your EPST go to edit on the bottom right will be a option for you to reset the device info back to shipped. Sprint will not have your new msid, so they will be of no help. also if that does not work, flash to stock and rum the update profile located in settings,system, or connections. good luck!

ps... Make sure you are on the Sprint stock rom before you do the PRi or profile update. otherwise you will change your MSID once again. If you have the MSL grabber, you can retrieve it and start over tho. Good Luck. Dont mind the irrate members on this site. Thanks rossi. We went through those steps with tech support (resetting the device) and it still didn't work.

I was with tech support for about 30mins and we tried that a couple of times

the numbers to press on your dial pad that the tech support is giving you is incorrect. atleast try that program msl grabber and when you call tech support again, give that number to them as your msid. they may know how to get your data support back after that. good luck again

No, the numbers they have are the same as the msl grabber . I tried your method first. Then called in

So you mean to tell me, if you bought a brand new car and put an air breathing kit and a computer mod on it and blew the motor, would you expect the dealer to give you a new engine for free? Same thing with your phone. You put a non oem rom and mess the phone up, then you expect the provider to fix or replace it for free?

if it was under warranty, YES i would. a cold air intake and chip will not blow a motor. the dealership HAS to prove the cold air intake and tune did the damage. there are laws regarding this because of crocked dealerships denying warranty work. why dont you try a little harder next time?

When I bought my first new car in 2003, the warranty book says that you can not modify the engine or the electrical sytem while it is under warranty.
Maybe a radio or if your handicap, some mods, but other than that nope, NOT COVERED. Read your Htc warranty book, you cause damage to the phone, your not covered.
