Re: Error message 9230- could use some advice
Make sure the format for all of the numbers in the contacts are the same: (000) 000-0000 and not some jumble of digits.

Re: Error message 9230- could use some advice
I too have the exact same problem. It is very annoying and actually only happens with one contact. I have a palm treo pro with sprint and the contact that gives me a problem is with at&t however I believe I don't have that problem with other contacts who use at&t. I believe I used to have the contact stored as a 7 digit number. However, I tried completely erasing that contact and manually putting in the 10 digit number into a new contact. It still didn't work. I tried contacting Sprint but they don't seem to know much about it. This is pretty annoying if anyone has any ideas I will try them.
Thank you. |

Re: Error message 9230- could use some advice
I work for sprint and Ive had a customer call in about this and you have to make sure its a 10 digit mobile number (ex. (954) 000-0000) or it wont work or even try doing a hard reset, but back up your info first with active sync or use myphone.Microsoft.com, which is a cool program online cause it backs up everything in your phone including your text messages...but usually a hard reset will either cure this or call sprint and have them make you a trouble ticket...
