When do you Hard reset after a new flash?

when you do the clear storage method, do you check the "clear NAND FLASH" option aswell? I've always done the 3 button method, never the clear storage method.

There's no harm to doing it (it doesn't seem wipe your SD card or anything), but I've yet to see a reason for doing it either.
