ActiveSync on Vista won't recognize TP after every time I flash any ROM. Any fix ? - Page 2

well vista is crap anyways so you should just go to microsoft and download windows 7 the copy will last to june 2010 so why not its so much stable the vista hahaha

haha... I think I am almost at the verge of doing it..

is it the public beta or another version that you recommend ?

its the RC now just go to microsoft website and it should be on the first page somewhere on the bottom, they did not put a download limit on it this time.

I have a very similar issue... I can activesync through USB after my vista PC reboots, but leaving the phone connected throughout the evening (or trying to sync later in the day) disables vista's ability to activesync again. I have to reboot vista to get it to sync. I sync other devices without much issue (like my Zune 30). Often, if I set my TP to connect as a USB HD, it connects, but again... It will not sync!!

I have put windows 7 on two other computers in my house, but have been having trouble with some drivers, and since I use Vista as my gaming machine, I can't afford to install Win7!
