The methods vary. The easiest is to tether your PC, and then run it through a router or switch, which then runs to the xbox. The internet will be shared through all connections.

The only way I can be in doubt of its working would be to directly tether to the xbox, Which I have doubts on its efficiency due to drivers being needed for sharing networks, but who knows. I don't own an Xbox so I cannot try it.
