negative. It's fast, but not THAT fast. The connection would cause lags so bad you'd probably be a whole round of Slayer behind. lol

Re: Is Any Way To Use

My friend plays over a data card fine, with almost no lag. I see no reason why you couldnt use a Touch Pro if you had good enough signal strength. The only thing is that his connection drops sometimes, but i am not sure why that happens.

Re: Is Any Way To Use

Well data cards are kinda made to handle a little heavier speed and use (to my knowledge). And Im sure a true gamer is not fine with dropping a connection mid-game.

Re: Is Any Way To Use

It's fast enough, but the latency is the only issue.

It's tough to get a connection under 120ms over the air like that. I've seen average of 300ms to anywhere from here... which is pretty horrible. If you can get in under 150ms you'll be fine.

Back when I played WoW, my landline connection was notorious for going out, so I'd just tether to play it most of the time

Re: Is Any Way To Use

Dont foret data cards are expresscard slots, which handle more speed transfers then a USB Tether. Technically it will always be faster because its a faster connection, like how ethernet is fasther than USB.

It still works however.
