Re: Poor Signal While Connected To Data

I'm using the Telus radio, it's done it with all the radios, though. The sprint stock radio seemed to lose calls more often than the Telus radio. This is what I'm talking about... sitting idle on the desk: Then, just moved to the weather tab and had it update, and this is what I get now. Phone never moved... and now I know I'll be missing calls and texts will come very late unless I manually disable the data connection. |

My real question is about the connection to two points on the tower. It may have been in the radio thread? I guess I'll get to looking, I was just hoping someone knew. |

Re: Poor Signal While Connected To Data
It was always my understanding that 1x was somewhere around 115kbp/s about 2x as fast as the fastest dial up 54kbps ... and EVDO r0 and rA capitalize on this bc they use multiple streams of that 1x to get your speed that you are seeing I think r0 was 5x 1x @ best so theoretically with r0 u could max out around 575kbp/s I think rA might be something like 15 or 20 (1x streams) else how would u get such fast speeds. So you were right about the radio connecting to more then one, however its alot more then 2 points.

Re: Poor Signal While Connected To Data
Been running Mighty 4.16 almost since i got TP and I just started experiencing this exact same problem last night and I have no idea what is causing it. I reflashed to stock and it still didn't make a difference. I'm starting to think it might be a hardware problem because I never had any problems before last night, but I'll have to check with my friends to see if they're having any data issues. I'm in Arlington, TX.
