My x wife has service with Alltell, She will be moving back to VA from SC.
She called to ask about switching her number to a new Va number and they said if you switch numbers, get a new phone or do an insurance claim with Alltell while under your Alltell contract, that your new or replacement phone will still be ALLtell until the contract expires or you renew it under Veizon. I've gotten two replacements for my Touch Pro during the time I've had one. The first one was through Alltel's X-change By Mail program due to a faulty screen. I received my new Touch Pro in about 5 days. The second time I needed to use my Insurance when my phone was destroyed during my B-Day (Mar 21)celebrations. Went to a company store, filled out my claim with a company rep & was given a new TP off the shelf (after a $95 deductible of course).
Whenever I've asked about future replacements I've been assured that as long as my Alltel contract is in effect I'll be given an Alltel version of the Touch Pro. Hope you have the same good fortune....
