usb car adapter upgrade

i search this real quick but didnt come up w/ anything.

i just bought a 2009 honda civic si, came w/ a usb hook up. (but most higher model/packaged cars like hyundai genesis coupe has it too)

i was hoping to be able to plug in my tp into it and atleast be able to hear audio but the usb adapter isnt noticing it.

when i plug it in, it acts as if it plugged into a computer asking if i want to use acive sync or disk drive or internet modem.

anyways, is there some sort of drivier i can use to play/ control windows media. cuz if i can atleast listen to last fm or pandora on it or watch sprint tv and hear it through the car speakers... it will be pretty cool.

it should actually be able to control volume and forward songs w/ the steering wheel controls too.

so is there some sort of driver for it?

Your car reads the mp3's and wma's off of any thumb drive type device. So, when you plug your phone in, choose disk drive mode and then your car will read the music files off the memory card. I don't know of any driver you're talkin about.
