I work for Sprint, so take this as it is:
For your texts and delay issues: You really need to speak to ADVANCED tech support, when you call in to tech, ask to be transferred to advanced. Have them make a ticket for you to have your data services rebuilt from the ground up, something is getting messed up in the main servers somewhere. Dropping yourself down to 1X will do nothing but hurt your connection speeds, it won't solve your issues. The Airrave is actually QUITE nice, and if you call up and speak to account services, depending on how many issues you actually have, there's decent odds in getting it for free. Lastly, where are you located? If there's a good Sprint service store in your area, they can be wonderful to deal with and will get you all set up, but I've heard way too many horror stories from BAD repair stores. I'm in Baltimore, pretty much downtown. Last "repair" center I went to was quite the horror story. I had a claim number in hand to get a new phone and they wouldnt do it so...
This seems to be a huge problem judging by the forums at sprintusers, for all phones really. I have a managers name in customer retention I can talk to(one with an actual direct phone number). I just think it is crazy to have a 600 dollar phone on a 100 dollar a month plan and the PHONE not work. Its great that it does do all the other great things on this phone, I love it. Honestly havent put it down since I bought it. As for the ticket issued, thats when they call you back correct? Yeah I did that with two of the BBs to no avail. But I will try it again if that will work. Anything specific I should ask or say let me know so I can get the ball rolling after I recite phone number, name, pin to 7 different people before I get hung up on and have to do it three more times until I talk to a manager who promises to call me back "tomorrow" and never does... Ok I may be a little bitter haha. |

Well, right now, if care gives you a ticket to replace your phone in store, the stores will do it for you.
As for the tickets and getting called back, it's not a manager thing, you're looking for the engineers there. Speak to tech support, and immediately ask for advanced tech support. Advanced tech will definitely help you out. |
