Re: Disk mode or syncing in Ubuntu
I do not really know about ubuntu, but for slackware (and presumably every other linux distro) you just plug it in, slect disk mode on the tp, and then do mount /dev/sda1 or sdb1, sdc1, sdd1, etc depending on your configuration.
I had a directory in my home directory called usb, where i would mount my usb devices, including my TP. so I plug it in, do mount /dev/sdb1 /home/paul/usb and it was done, copy my files to /home/paul/usb and then unmounted it. worked great. never did get activesync to work though..
