I've been so into this phone and this site inparticular that i just bought an HTC Kaiser off craigslist that has a broken LCD screen as a project.. lol, already ordered replacement parts. Anyone replaced and LCD before or owned this phone?

UPDATE: Was able to remove the LCD screen today. Went to sears and found the torx screwdrivers i needed and followed some instructions i found online. Didn't realized you had to completely disassemble the phone. lol. Went well, just hope i can put it all back together when i get the new screen in.

I've replaced 2 screens on the Mogul. IDK if its the same for the Kaiser. Just be careful with the connections for the screen and the way it slides when its open. It could slide the keyboard and rip the tape connector right in 2.

cool, thanks for the tip. i picked the Kaiser up from craigslist for 40 dollars so its just kinda a toy. Im gunna try and fix it and sell to a friend

My official company phone is an AT&T Tilt (Kaiser/TyTNII) It's a good little phone and works well but the back cover is a b**** to keep from breaking. Order a couple replacements for those.
