Same deal with mine off a fresh flash. It's probably a 2 or 3 minute wait after every soft-reset.

After 2nd reboot everything is extremely slow after getting into windows as well... for anyone trying to uninstall this... don't lose your time doing so from "Remove Programs" (as it will fail)... instead re-run the nueDynamicClock setup, which will prompt u to remove the program. After doing so, everything is fast again!

so are these issues of reboot taking time being reported on 1.1 version ?

I have the original version 1.0 and never seen that issue

Yes, I didn't have these issues with 1.0 either.

Hey guys. Deselect "Don't control device clock until phone has completed boot sequence"

it boots up fine after that. Think no2chem might have switched up a setting.

does this fix the stuttering issues?

thx for this. i unchecked it and didn't see any problems booting.

another question, did no2chem already set the power saving profiles and maximum performance profiles? or do we have to set them ourselves? i check the profile and it seems like nothing is set

sorry about v1.1, it apparently set speed to 0 on boot for some stupid reason... anyway it is updated now...

bad coding? .. or coding at night, thinking everything finally worked, and not remembering to test restart.

basically, if you wanted to know the details, i read from the registry twice on accident, once from the wrong key, which made it default to 0.

i set my own profile settings, but i dont' see the clock speed changing. weird

also, no2chem, did you ever get far in developing something that can monitor the programs that are running which will allow the dynamic clock to speed up or slow down the phone based on application?

When will you give no2chem a break - seriously ? You are either complaining taht his app does not work or asking for updates on his future releases :) ??

so i gather this program makes the phone perform better because it increases your cpu speed?

sorry for the random question im new to this.

Actually, just the opposite. In an effort to save battery life, It allows you to slow your CPU speed when you don't need it to run at full power.

Apologies to no2chem if that sumnation is innacurate .

I upgraded from 1.0 to 1.2 and now get massive slowdown coming from suspend at 19.XX Mhz.

Can anyone share the settings they use with version 1.2?

Re: [4-24] nueDynamicClock 1.2 - tons more features, hopefully less bugs

Hey no2chem, I've been having some issues downloading things from your site with Opera (9.5 build 15954). Whenever I hit "Accept" on the license agreement to start downloading, the download will start but cut off after about 13KB downloaded. If I load up PIE and try it, it downloads fine.

Great product, great innovation. Thanks again.

Re: [4-24] nueDynamicClock 1.2 - tons more features, hopefully less bugs

Well, 1.2 lets the phone start up but it's acting a little weird. With 1.0, I had it set to 19.2MHz for standby, if I do the same with 1.2, the phone has a real hard time waking up with the power button, I can't answer phone calls and it takes a while for S2U2 to load. However, this could just be because 1.2 is actually doing the job more effectively and is taking some time to speed up from 19.2 to 528. Anyways, I set it to 256 for standby and everything is fine now

cjmedina 04-24-2009 11:29 PM

Re: [4-24] nueDynamicClock 1.2 - tons more features, hopefully less bugs

i also have problems downloading it with opera it gives me a error and the new version caused my device to slow down to a crawl and i had to hardrest to get rid of the program

muyoso 04-24-2009 11:54 PM

Re: [4-24] nueDynamicClock 1.2 - tons more features, hopefully less bugs

Yea, 1.2 is acting really wonky. Starts up fine, but then freezes for a while. Coming back from suspend it is unuseable for a good minute. 1.0 was much more stable, but I sure like the profiles feature in 1.2.

Re: [4-24] nueDynamicClock 1.2 - tons more features, hopefully less bugs

I ended up rolling back to 1.0.

no2chem is 1.2 actually doing the job right hence the slowdown?

1.2 doesn't have slowdown.

Also i must say that it's a improvement over 1.0
on 1.0 i could not play streaming music over wmp even on conservative settings. now i'm able to do so without stuttering. will charge up tonight and let it go for the night. hopefully i can get better battery life.

The dynamic speed may be delayed in responsiveness, so it does seem slower than before. I would have to agree with the other posts - when you wake the phone up from standby, it seems to take quite a bit more work to get the speed back up to the active speed. I have been unable to answer calls if the phone was in standby and wakes up as any presses (button) or slides (s2a) won't work.

I'll take a look at this tommorow; I think I've been banging my head on this for too long... I know there is a issue, and I'll get it fixed as soon as I figure it out.

Re: [4-24] nueDynamicClock 1.2 - tons more features, hopefully less bugs

Bug report:

i've used both 1.0 and 1.2 version

on JuicyROM Apr 24th, Bell Touch Pro.

When using wisbar advance 3.4.3.1 (which startup automatically), i won't be able to launch the installer and the nueDynamicClock application. when i close wisbar advance, i have no problem running them. and when i start wisbar again, i can open up the installer/app without problem.

so it appears that the app need the be ran before the wisbar loaded into the memory. i wonder if there is a glitch and conflict between them?

Don't know if this is happening to anyone else or just to me but if I go to file and exit, my start menu is not working anymore using QuickMenu(haven't tried without) but if I use the x button, it continues to work fine

Compusmurf 04-25-2009 11:50 AM

Re: [4-24] nueDynamicClock 1.2 - tons more features, hopefully less bugs

1.0 was working fine for me. (I guess) I didn't really notice any battery savings.

So I upgraded to 1.2, set to 256 or 254, whatever the 2xx one was.

I locked up overnight. First time I've had that happen with my phone. I'm going to step back from this app and let it "mature" a bit more, but I believe you are definitely on the right track!!!

My fault tho, I shouldn't have done it on the phone I use for work. hahahaha. Glad I wasn't on call!

what ver of quickmenu? it was updated to 2.8 in Jan.

I had the same thing happen to me last night. Locked up had to reset. I rolled back to 1.0 and will see what happens tonight.

Re: [4-24] nueDynamicClock 1.2 - tons more features, hopefully less bugs

So over the past 5-6 days I've had noticeable keyboard lag, my LCD screen image has been reversed/mirrored, sometimes the screen would not turn back on, turning back on from suspend was slow as hell answering calls was lagged and several other issues with the initial version of Dynamicclock came up too. I wasn't sure if it was my phone or what.

I switched back to the original app which just allows one constant speed, set it to 256 and things are running smooth. I guess its a sacrifice. Good battery life with weird screen/phone issues or no issues and not so good battery life.

Hopefully my radio upgrade will improve things to a tolerable level while this app matures and the kinks are worked out.

twe90kid 04-25-2009 02:37 PM

Re: [4-24] nueDynamicClock 1.2 - tons more features, hopefully less bugs

i've been experiencing the lag. when you power on from suspend mode, it takes 2/3 secs to get it to speed up again. also when phone calls come in, it takes a long time for the s2a to respond to your finger gesture. another thing that i notice was the bluetooth problem. bluetooth responds slower than normal

djsonar 04-25-2009 02:56 PM

Re: [4-24] nueDynamicClock 1.2 - tons more features, hopefully less bugs

Ok. i upgraded to juicy 7
power savings 528.384.256.122
so far no problems at all.
i will test for the next few days to see what are the best setting base on my usage.
