Re: [4-24] nueDynamicClock 1.2 - tons more features, hopefully less bugs
I had a lot of weird issues with 1.2. 1.0 worked fine. With 1.2 it would occasionally fail to bring the clock back to 512 after waking up, I'd get random screen glitches (the whole screen would be off color) and it doesn't play well with WisbarAdvance (I suspect its the task manager). I also had issues with the volume slider freezing until I uninstalled 1.2. This is a shame cause I really like the program. I may try 1.0 again and see if it works ok still.
Edit: I didn't mean to sound disparaging, its an awesome program and a great idea. Last edited by TheDoctor1971; 05-05-2009 at 12:14 AM. |

1.0 works for me. Using 528/256/122/61 with decent enough results. There are some slight trade-offs (occasionally coming out of standby screen is garbled, green, mirrored or something else but a simple tap of the power button fixes it, no soft reset needed, it's also slightly slower to ring and Lumos takes longer to wake up after coming out of standby), but battery life has definitely increased. How much it has increased is hard to say but perhaps at least 30%.

How is 1.3 working for everyone? I am looking for ways to increase my battery life, but not at the cost of ANY functionality.

Re: [4-24] nueDynamicClock 1.2 - tons more features, hopefully less bugs
1.3 is working great. I installed it last night. I constantly turned the phone on and off to see if there is a lag, but 1.3 changes clockspeed a lot faster than 1.2. Works great so far. I will need more time to make sure. However, I am only using it to change the clockspeed when the phone suspends. That's pretty much all I need it for. When the phone is on, I'm using browsing the internet or something so I dont need to underclock it.

Re: [4-24] nueDynamicClock 1.2 - tons more features, hopefully less bugs
Just loaded v1.3 and so far all is well.
I had been using nueClockControl, which worked quite well for me and had finally provided a respectable battery life. I hope this will give me even better results! No2 you ROCK! Edit: Donated to No2 after thinking about it for a minute....and after realizing I am using at least 3 other Nue apps! Last edited by 176562; 05-11-2009 at 04:16 PM. |
