Re: [4-20] nueDynamicClock - dynamically adjust clock for battery life
I know most of you would not beleive this, or try it yourselves, but I've been running the phone with the CPU set permanently to 256 mhz, and honestly I see almost NO hit in performance at all.
SK Tools benchmarking showed about a 30-40% drop in performance on some tests, but so far none of the apps I run seem to be any slower. Opera Mobile still loads pages fast and zooms and pans smoothly. I havent had any more lock ups with music playing like I did with a dynamic clockspeed. Benchmarking a video in Coreplayer that usually gets me 200% came back with 170% while underclocked. PocketNester still runs at 60 FPS. Opera Mini DID suffer with choppier zoom animations. S2U2 also runs a little choppier. Nothing major. At this point I'm going to stick with 256 mhz and see how my battery fares... but really performance-wise I see almost no difference, even when running several apps. I encourage you guys to try it out.. though I do have to mention, I do NOT use TF3D, so that may or may not be affected. |

Re: [4-24] nueDynamicClock 1.1 - tons more features, hopefully less bugs
Just installed - noticed a minor issue :-p
(See attached screenshot)... "To configure nueDyanmicClock" - Dyanmic? This is on the "nueDynamicClock was successfully installed to your device!" splash screen.

Re: [4-24] nueDynamicClock 1.1 - tons more features, hopefully less bugs
Sorry for the second immediate post (different issue, don't want to blend the two)
After the reboot, the phone did not boot past the splash screen. I do have Monocube's Safemode installed (which adds itself to the boot process). I attempted to soft reset a number of times, eventually, I just started tapping the OK/Action button for no apparent reason during one reset. I noticed that the Safemode option did not appear, however, the phone still stalled at the HTC splash screen. I then started working on my SDConfig.txt to remove Safemode incase I need to reload - and then I looked at my phone - it had hard reset itself. I am going to reload again (I was editing SDConfig so my MicroSD card isn't in my phone) without Safemode and will try installing again. Running MightyROM 4.16 |

Re: [4-24] nueDynamicClock 1.1 - tons more features, hopefully less bugs
Phone is taking an insane amount of time to boot after first installing this. It gets stuck at the splash screen for more than 10 minutes! After that, everything is fast as usual. Using Juicy 7 090424H.

Re: [4-24] nueDynamicClock 1.1 - tons more features, hopefully less bugs
Stuck at the second windows splash screen, looks like a hard reset is in my future...
Edit...as above it finally boots...but it takes a LONG time to get there... Edit 2...it seems every reset after takes an insane amount of time to start up, going to uninstall...

Same results here using PsykiROM... been on splash screen for 5min so far... I'm waiting it out, but likely will hard reset as well...
