Re: How can I delete youtube?
I'm running the stock Sprint ROM, and the youtube app comes with this ROM. I'm sure there are system files for this app somewhere in the device (duh) that could be deleted or tampered with to make this app inoperable.

Re: How can I delete youtube?
With a file explorer like resco or total commander, you should just be able to delete the program file itself, essentially rendering it inoperable, until your next hard reset. Why would you want to do this though?

Re: How can I delete youtube?
Yes I would like to do this. I understand the process on HOW to do it, I just need to find out where the system files for the youtube application are located on my device. As mentioned before, I found files inside of the "Windows" directory, but those files are only generated after you access the app, and only store preferences, search history, etc.
If anyone knows where the root of this program is located on a Touch Pro, then that is the information I need. Thanks again ![]() |

Re: How can I delete youtube?
The exe file is in the windows directory as well, you need a good file explorer though. The default windows file explorer doesn't allow sufficient permissions to be able to delete files in the windows directory....

Re: How can I delete youtube?
Thanks, I was able to find the files, but here is my issue now:
I'm using Total Commander and when I go in to try to delete the files, it give me an error. It seems to regard these files as critical system files, does anyone know of any other method by which I could delete these files? |
