Actually when I went into the settings the fields were blank and I left them that way thinking they were not needed. Now I get an error when trying to use data. I'm not sure what the username and password would be.

does it have a check box to remember password? if so check it and hit OK. (all fields blank)
you should be able to get it to go away, otherwise just build a new connection.

what carrier?

I checked out my TCP window size in Adv. Con. and it was set at 415030. Does this seem too large a number? Cell 1 and Cell2 I found w/Total Commander in HKLM>Comm for those wondering where the 2nd one was.

Shouldn't be a problem with TcpWindowSize being that big. Your connection may just start a bit slower, initially, until it finds the right balance.

and I'll tell you why:
the way window scaling works. Basically, it steps down faster than it steps up. So start larger... it'll adjust.
