Re: End Your Screen Protector Woes

i got them...but i am less than impressed. First their " cloth" left lint behind. so the first one has lint all over over it... (the soap water and alchol trick will fix that) but then they aren even cut to size. The sprint ones are so close some times they dont fit because they are too big. and its a finger print magnet.

These are cut about a 16th of an inch to short on each side...what kind of crap is that.

Ghostarmor can make one that fits (but sucks in its own ways)
phantom skinz can make one that fits (but sucks in its own ways)
sprint can kinda do it.

this really isnt that hard.

Yes i think for the most part on these we will just have to make due with what we have, 16th on an inch is not that bad considering what would happen if u don't have something on the screen......

Re: End Your Screen Protector Woes

I think, at the end of the day, it's a great product for the price. I mean, 3 sets for under $10 shipped is a great price. Even the miniscule border that they don't protect is negligable cuz it's not really noticeable since the screen protector's nearly invisible.

Re: End Your Screen Protector Woes

ood idea bout making cuts in the circle

also, i doubt that any screen protector will fit perfectly. the one i had on my first pro was too big...then i found these, and yes, mine is a little small, but its only about as off as a couple pieces of paper are thick, im not gonna complain..how often do you use that last 2mm of your screen anyways?

i doubt there will ever be a perfectly fitting one...yes our phones are "identical" in dimensions, but if you measure each phone individually, they will all be a little different, they are kinda like snowflakes, there are no two exactly 100% the same down to the millimeter....this is why some fit better than others, its just how much play the manufacture is leaving so that their product will fit every phone....

Re: End Your Screen Protector Woes

Every HTC protector I've had has been slightly too big - it's impossible to get on there without bubbles at the corners, I'd actually prefer to have it be slightly too small so it sits well around the edges. The HTC ones are too hard to trim to get to sit flat. I have a trimmed one on there now but I ordered these and am waiting to replace it.

These were my experiences as well...what can you do?

Re: End Your Screen Protector Woes

So the protector does not cover the center of the D-pad?

I did that myself with some vynil that I cut by hand, and after a little bit of use, there was some gunk from my fingers around the D-pad (where I had cut a circle out). I suspect you guys are gonna have the same problem...

I now have a piece of vynil covering the entire D-pad, including the center. I just wish I had cut it better around the edges (too lazy to do it over )
