I asked the seller this question and got this reply:

"USPS requires packages to be at their thickest point more than 3/4" to be able to add tracking to it. That is why the ball is there. But we are changing from a wooden ball to a ball of bubble wrap once we run out of the wooden balls we have in stock.

Throw it away, or give it away...It will not fit right.

Re: End Your Screen Protector Woes

The one I applied to my device is just a hair too small on each side. IMO, it's so small, it's barely even noticeable. Most definately NOT a deal-breaker. The only thing I don't like is the air pocket around the ring. WTF!?!?!

Re: End Your Screen Protector Woes

Yup, there is a small gap around the protectors-they are not perfectly cut like the OEM HTC ones. Yup, air bubble around ring still bothers me. I'm thinking of just not using the bottom. portion. Noticed this protector picks up finger oils waaay worse than the OEM one, IMO.

Re: End Your Screen Protector Woes

Ok here is an idea on the bottom part with the bubble problem, Try putting 4 small cuts around the hole of the protector, 1 top-1 bottom and on each side, That should help it seal better........I will try this on mine when they come and report back, It should help get rid of the air giving a better seal....

Thanks, remoc! That sounds like it should work. Let's hope for the best 'cuz I'm actually kind of annoyed by that circular air bubble! =)
