im pretty sure the majority of people on this forum are running on custom roms my big question is is there anything i can do to get my phone back to normal without bringing it in for servicing.

Right, and 95% of the time they are the ones who run into problems with things not working and blame the phone when its the custom ROM that caused it. Not to mention if you brick the phone you void your warranty. Nice way to throw $300 in the toilet. I am just saying, dont blame your phone for problems I am 99% sure your custom ROM has caused.

If there is any possibility of them realizing you've flashed a custom ROM, then you absolutely cannot take it to the store. The only thing you can do is "lose" it and file a claim with Asurion... I suggest you do that before the new deductible goes into effect.
