That means this application is useless to me. They said it would do PayPal, but it can't. And the list of available banks is a set most of us don't bank with.

I guess they had to start somewhere, but I hope they get more banks added, including PayPal.

You may need the activation code from PayPal if it does work...I'm just going off the basis that it's not even listed in the application of supported institutions.

They didn't list it, so I assume SplashMoney does not work with PayPal .

I don't know of any mobile app that does PayPal. Which is why I was really hoping Sprint's would. The only way to do PayPal via hand held, is to send SMS messages and their mobile site.

For the Sprint Mobile Banking application, Sprint does not provide an accurate list. Well, I have not found any list online, just press releases that mention PayPal would work, but it does not.

We side-barred into talk about SplashMoney for a moment, it's the one with a long list, but no PayPal there either.

Nice, I'll give SplashMoney a try and see how it works. I haven't really done any mobile banking, so this will be interesting.

Be sure to read the disclaimer at the top of SplashMoney's list.

The following banks are available for online setup in SplashMoney. Not all of them have been tested, however, so we cannot guarantee success. If you are considering the iPhone application, you can try out your bank account in the trial version of the SplashMoney Desktop, to see if your bank works with it.

Please note that you may need to activate Direct Connect service with your bank. To do this:

1. Call your bank customer support.
2. Tell them you "wish to activate Direct Connect access for Quicken 2005" (this avoids confusion over what SplashMoney is, and we use the same technology).
3. They may want to charge you a monthly fee for the service. Some banks will waive this if you use direct deposit for your paycheck.
4. Go back to SplashMoney and try setting up your account again. You may have received a different user ID and password for Direct Connect.

If Sprint's application can just be better tested than SplashMoney and start adding more banks, it will be a nice option.

This app (Mobile Banking) isn't for paypal. This is a different tool.
