Touch PRO full MMS with CRICKET!!! - Page 5

ok so i got it, it says it's "synchronized" and everything, but where do i go to view my mail??

i noticed it made an account for itself in my arcsoft program, but there is nothing there...

also, one very important thing, HOW can we fix the sending of SMS to emails??
it is a feature that i have noticed has been blocked off because we are using these third-party custom roms and phones, but back when i had a cricket phone, i could send SMS messages effortlessly to my email!! now i can't!

i CAN however send MMS. but that does me no good, because when people reply to an MMS, at 713555555@mms.mycricket.com, what i can see in my phone is ONLY the subject that they typed! i can not see the body of the msg!

on the other hand if i send them a msg as an SMS, they get a plain text msg, and when they reply, to 713555555@sms.mycricket.com, they are basically sending me a plain old sms msg directly to my cell phone, and it's like a normal text msg, and i can see the body of the msg and everything!

now, the way it currently is i CAN recieve SMS and MMS msgs, but i can ONLY send MMS msgs to e-mails. [something which i KNOW works on normal cricket phones]

has anyone noticed that? anyone know how this can be fixed?

Thanks a million. I took my touch pro to get flashed by 3 diffrent locations. And finally I got it working with your instructions.

Awesome. I sold a few Windows Mobile devices and I needed this to work and never found anything about it so I made this tutorial so it would be easier for everyone..

Im glad people actually use it..

hi im kinda new to this i got a brand new htc touch pro from sprint and took it to a cricket store and they made everything work for cricket my web talk text works great i get pic messages some time but can never send any pic messages i heard i had to send it in this format Sprint : MDN@pm.sprint.com

hey i'm reading all the replys but call me stupid, I still don't understand. Are you increasing the mms size limit of sprint to cricket's size limit?

This thread is for making MMS work on Cricket. Has nothing to do with sprint.

so if i have already paid to get unlocked are these the steps to make my pic messaging work or will i screw up my phone ?

Following these steps shouldn't mess up your phone. If your web and MMS don't work, then these steps should get it going. Worst case, it doesn't work. And WORSE worse case you just hafta do a hard reset.

I know that for me, I was sending SMS and MMS to a friends email address while they were working. That part works just fine. Sending and receiving no problem.

As far as your other problem, It sounds like the MMS isn't downloaded on your phone. The way mine works is I can see it in my Inbox until it downloads. Then it goes into the existing conversation of the person who sent it. If you click the message, does it say download at the bottom left corner? If it does, then that's what is happening.

One thing you need to check is that your PST settings are correct. I bought my Touch Pro from another Cricket user, and had to go update the settings in PST to get web and MMS to work.
