Buttons not working

the other day the home, send call, end call, enter, and back buttons (on the front) of my touch pro stopped responding, and I noticed that there is alot of lag and freezing. any ideas on what may be wrong?

Have you tried a simple soft reset? That fixes my minor irritations as well as some major ones.
Any new programs loaded? Sometimes they conflict, but try above.
If not, hard reset may be in order, be sure you back everything up. That is what they will do if you go to service center, so you might try and save yourself the trip.

What phone do you have you posted in TP and you show mogul?
Also if you have a TP have you done any tweaks or using a custom rom?
