exception to add my touch pro or to waive the fee when one of the reps told me they could but a manager had to approve it then they said they wouldn't do it....tsk tsk

I told one rep i spoke with when i called to cancel almost everything except the bare minimum we had to keep that there are tons of upset people about how they wont activate the phone...he giggled and said even he had to purchase a verizon one even though the sprint one he had before had more memory. He suggested i sell it on ebay and use that money to buy a verizon one. I basically said, no, then hung up.

With all due respect, SmoothJuice, I think you just got lucky & I'd be surprised if this were a viable solution for most people.

Haha well sometimes I'd rather be lucky than good. I never said in my post that it was a surefire guarantee that you "could put your phone on the VZW network easily" I just took the time to share the way I particularly got it done. I give my best luck to anyone who wants to try it. The task itself is difficult in it of itself but I believe with a little politeness on the phone, some serious reading and research, and a lot of persistence it can still be done. :)

On a different note has anyone heard of any new modified custom PRLs since the last one came out?

Hey thanks 8notime that worked perfectly.

One other thing I was checking out my picture messaging features and those don't seem to be working correctly. I'm not able to send or recieve any pics without doing it by email and my data is working fine. I guess since I have a verizonized Sprint TP what are my options outside of the sprint picture mail since I can't use that?. Do I have to flash to the verizon ROM? use a 3rd party program? (don't know if that's possible just throwing it out there tho)

Also, can I remove the Sprint banner from the today screen? I know this should be possible just haven't seen many posts or threads on it unless I just missed it..

You need the VZW Arcsoft MMS app i believe. It is on this forum somewhere i am sure.

Has anyone who successfully had their Sprint TP added to the DMD noticed that "My Account" now shows no phone type and a generic image?

It appears that some of the phones previously added to the DMD are being removed.

Personally, I would flash to one of the Mighty ROM's and then install the MMS in post #9 from the thread below. I don't think the Picture Mail app in the stock Sprint ROM will work with Verizon's MMS.
