Sprint TP on Verizon UPDATE! (NO LONGER WORKING)

mine was doing that...i think it was a vzw thing...i reenterd my profile information though

I've had a Sprint TP on Verizon for about 3 weeks with no problems. Bought another one two days ago for the wife. Went through the tutorial then tried *228/3 several times yesterday with no luck. Finally called Vzw CS and tried to BS my way through getting it activated. Was finally transferred to Tier 2 Tech support and the very nice lady who I spoke to (who I finally leveled with about what I was trying to do) spent almost an hour and a half on the phone with me MANUALLY activating the second Sprint TP on Vzw! However, she never was able to get Data provisioned. Voice and text were and still are fine.

This morning however, MY TP which has been perfect for weeks, suddenly lost data and I started receiving Error 67 (?) codes and popups that told me my PowerVision (remember, I'm on Vzw) password and login were incorrect.

Hopefully this is temporary or I now have several very expensive paperweights.

Verizon sucks, bottom line! 2004 When I was in need of service the store I went to sold all carriers, (before Sprint and Nextel merger) the sales person @ store said she could've sold me any carrier, commission was same, but she referred me to Sprint, reason, "Verizon is to arrogant and don't give anything", "not even nights starting @ 7". She further related that she travels across country to a lot of meetings involving cell phone co's and all agreed Sprint was getting better and stepping up their game. She also noted Sprint and Zerizon uses the same network and shares roaming towers so if I were to have the digital roaming plan I'll have the best of both worlds. Point is that once when Sprint were getting their gears in action Zerizon gained a lot of customers that if to switch carriers now will loose the free calling to in house customers or family members, point blank, also some are dooped by the "can u hear me now commercial". My neighbor said he's been with verizon for 18 years and have had the motto q for about 5 years, who keeps a cell phone for 5 years? WHEN I SHOWED HIM MY MOGUL @ THE TIME AND THE NAVIGATION APP, HE CLAIMED " i DID'NT KNOW A CELL PHONE COULD DO THAT" .

My take on this is that Verizon might be superior for some people that are not covered well by Sprint, each case is different.

However that's not true for everybody. In a lot of areas the networks are pretty much equivalent.

If I get perfect service, cheaper and with great data speeds why would I go to another network to get the same thing but spending more money.

So use whatever service satisfy your needs. In my book Sprint is perfect. No data or voice issues, great speeds and have been up and running for 8 years. The amount of money I've saved. For other people Sprint doesn't give good coverage so Verizon is the smart move.

Oh and a big plus; so far I haven't had to find workarounds to make the phones from other carriers work in my network.

Only got error 67 when I tried to update the weather. All other data just wouldn't connect. Now all seems to be fine. Maybe it was just a Verizon Network issue.
I'm on Long Island in NY. Don't know if it was a local issue. Maybe it was a warning from Verizon!

thats odd because my sprint tp gave me issues today with connecting and was giving me that error. I figured because i just flashed the new juicy 5 w/tp2. I just loaded in my carrier cab i forgot to load and it resest. Been good since. Havent had that problem in a long time. My contract ends next month, if this phone stops working, I might go at&t as i just dont like sprint. I do like verizon but some of their policies suck. That and i think i went over my 5gb limit...oops...

i dont know what to do. both of my ha and my aaa are blank. i cant get them back just keep getting that stupid error code.
