Sprint TP on Verizon UPDATE! (NO LONGER WORKING) - Page 14

Quick question.. I downloaded the Rom and will try the SD card way by using the directions below the Rom on that Post. Is my phone considered unlocked right now? Or do I have to unlock it first before I start? Will this Rom erase my Keys?

Edit: I used the SD card unlocker and then flashed to MightyRom 4.6 and when I got to the desktop everything worked without even having to program through *228. Wow i'm a flasher now. My mom would be proud...

If you went through everything in the tutorial it should already be unlocked.

Flashing the Mighty ROM will not affect your keys. Just don't hard reset with the clear mem option. If you want to hard reset, use the hardware button procedure.

Anyone make any headway on this? I know there has to be a plethora of Sprint TP's running on VZW out there.

I'm not sure there's all that many & the ones that are where activated before VZ changed their policy on this.........

I know there were a few ppl trying to get their MEID added to the database, but I haven't seen any updates on their progress.

I know at least two of them reported that VZ flat out denied the request.

I'm hoping there's a work around. My Sprint TP is sitting at the postoffice right now ready for me to activate on Verizon
