Well, I thought I would put some input in. I have a TP from sprint that I unfortunately switched over to Verizon before i heard about the plug in *228. Well I tried and tried and talked and talked and transferred to higher tech reps but they told me the bottom line was they couldn't manually add the s/n to their system. I asked them why I was able to activate the 6800 I have currently when they told me specifically that they couldn't activate that either. They didn't have an answer for that question either. Long story short, I would like to return my TP to the Sprint version. I know how to flash the rom, etc but what about all of the MIP settings? Do I need to go back into those and reset them? What about the data? Any help would be much appreciated,

Here's the changes I made using EPST in preparation for activating on VZW. I haven't reset mine yet, so cannot verify that the process works.

We need a mod in here to threaten people who keep up with the stupid carrier wars crap. This thread has been raped by the incessant "zomg i luv sprint, verizon sucks!" or "lolz @ sprint, verizon 4 ever!" Yes, thats really what it looks like on my end. Just hard reset with hardware buttons and ran sprite. all worked flawlessly. PHEW. just FYI....

Yeah....for sure. I am actually a lot more relaxed about installing new apps now knowing that I can hard reset (hard buttons only) and run sprite and have my sprint TP still be fine on VZN. everytime my phone would even hickup in the last few weeks, I thought the worst. It was painless and Sprite worked better than I ever thought. Good call.

OK so I flashed to a different ROM and my data worked initially and then it quit. I think it was probably the error some of you have mentioned that went away after some time. Of course I figured something must have changed from the new rom and started digging. Now I'm unable to get my data working no matter what I try.

I have my PPP, HA, and AAA keys all backed up. I'm getting PPP Connection Error 11 and could use some help since I know if I take the phone off the account theres a great chance it will never get back on there. Also I've thought about calling in for a DMU reset but I'd like to avoid that for a few reasons. I'm not sure what would be causing my issues, if anyone could throw out some ideas I would be grateful.

I have an Alltel Pro btw.

Edit: Also note that if I go into ##DEBUG I get a 1 for EVDO auth which should be a good thing.
