I am having the same problem when switching from portrait to landscape. I start replying to a text, and it switches to the Manila landscape, then I have to re-navigate to the text messages, and the message that I started typing before the Manila landscape popped up, is saved to my drafts...usually it's a message with maybe a word or two typed in....kind of annoying.

Not that you don't have enough requests for things from people already, No2...but something that could fix the Manila landscape issues would be greatly appreciated. I'm not sure if it's even something that's possible to remedy...but we're not gonna kid ourselves, we all know that if anyone here would be able to do it, it'd be you

But back to the original topic of this thread....is a cab version of nueKBLight 1.4 gonna be available on your site soon?

I saw that this was posted over there-

Quote:
nueKBLight is updated to version 1.4, this version supports sliding sounds and the light sensor, as well as input change on slide.

It’s not a direct replacement of nueSlidingKeyboard yet; since it doesn’t work for all devices yet. Also, its the first package to use my nueSetupKernel framework.. so we’ll see how that goes. If you need the cab for OEM purposes, its a resource in the exe installer, just extract it using a resource editor.
Would someone with a "resource editor" be able to extract the cab file and post it here?

Just curious, cuz the new version looks great and I can't run the exe installer while I'm at work. I wanna try the new version out now

Re: updated nuekblight 1.5 keyboard backlight now stays ON!! with manilla fix!!

Installed 1.5 on Mighty Rom 4.12. Works great until i hit either the volume up or the volume down hard key. Causes my PPC to slow to a crawl!

Had to uninstall to get things back to normal

Re: updated nuekblight 1.5 keyboard backlight now stays ON!! with manilla fix!!

I used it for about 4 days... and as much as I like having the light on... I was having alot of problems with screen rotation and general snappiness when using programs that have screen rotation. If it was more of a stable thing.... Id be all over it in ROM

Re: updated nuekblight 1.5 keyboard backlight now stays ON!! with manilla fix!!

I searched and did not find an answer to my problem. I am running a Sprint stock ROM and installed nuekblight 1.5 last night, this is the only change I have made in weeks. Now instead of having the full size soft keyboard I have this little tiny full keyboard that is completely useless unless I use the stylus. Uninstalling nuekblight did not change it back. Anyone know the registry key and setting or what I do to get back to the stock regular sized soft keyboard? I primarily use the slide out kb, but there are those rare times I just use the soft one and currently that would be a real pain to try and use. Thanks!!

Just woke up and started poking around with this. I noticed in Settings/Input it is set to keyboard and if I change it to Full QWERTY or anything else it just reverts back to keyboard. I am thinking that is part of the problem but not sure why it keeps changing itself back to keyboard regardless of what I set it to.

i turned the sim thing off in the settings. Press the little up arrow next to the kb icon then select full qwerty for it to go back to the big querty buttons.

Thank you!!!!! That worked. I was driving myself nuts trying to figure it out. I knew it had to be something simple that I wasn't thinking of.

Re: updated nuekblight 1.5 keyboard backlight now stays ON!! with manilla fix!!

Im a new tp user and mine is flashed to cricket. I hate the keyboard lights going out also. If I put something on the phone such as the fix listed above, will it hurt my flash? In other words I didnt do the flash from sprint to cricket myself and I dont want to mess things up by adding stuff. Thanks in advance... My rom version is 1.03.651.4 whatever the heck that means. Ps also need help getting my mms working.
