IIRC it's called City ID. I just got my Alltel TP yesterday and noticed it was on there with a $1.99/month fee. Basically what it does is shows you the city of where an incoming call comes from. It was kinda cool (for the 2 hours it was on my phone) but def. not worth paying for, imo.

Why not just use this, which is free and will work with any ROM?

wow alltels a winner, after unpacking and getting the cabs out, it still didnt work. After a call to customer service i learned that city id after the 15 day trial wont work on the phone anymore.... way to go alltel

zeurx, what alltel rom version do you have? I have the very latest (2.01.671.1), and it has MAJOR BUGS. QuickGPS doesn't work, T9 is stuck on, and a bunch of other bull crap.
