Re: Screen Dead. Creating Backup?

You can backup contacts and your calendar by using Google sync: http://www.google.com/mobile/product...html#p=default

You can manually setup a Microsoft Exchange (google sync uses exchange server) connection through Active Sync by doing the following:
1. go to Tools > Configure Server

2. Type in the following informaiton:
Server Address = m.google.com
User Name = **EMAIL ADDRESS***@gmail.com
Password = ***PASSWORD***

Leave all check boxes checked as well as Replace Item on Device.

MyMobiler will allow you to view your ppc on your PC.

I think you need to follow on screen instructions (on your PPC) in order to install MyMobiler.....

I could be wrong though...

No setup on the PPC is needed. A bubble will pop up on your PC saying "Please wait installing MyMobiler on device"
Be sure to keep MyMobiler folder on your desktop.

Re: Screen Dead. Creating Backup?

Thanks Hypnotic2010, however I'm not having any luck.

MyMobiler seems to keep trying to install itself but never does. My phone remains synced but no luck.

Any suggestions or other options?

Thanks in advance!

I have found you need to have the MyMobiler folder on your desktop to work properly.
Your phone must be connected with activesync first.
Also reset your pc. After you reset click on the screen icon in your taskbar to open mymobiler. It should say "please wait installing on your device, then the icon lights up.

need help, broken screen AGAIN

Well i broke my screen on the touch pro the exact same way i did with my mogul about 2 months ago working on a car and closed the hood on it.

BUT this time the screen still works and the touch screen part still works. It broke the cover thats over the LCD. Where is the best/cheapest place to buy a replacement? And whats the process for replacement
